Workshop Management System for a turbocharger repair workshop

A busy turbocharger workshop ran job cards, parts and the wash-bay queue on paper and memory. Job status lived in people's heads, parts went missing, warranty claims were argued from memory and nothing could be reported on.
In production every working day. More than 3,300 job cards logged, over 20 users, and around 300 new jobs added every month.
Electric motors protected for high-pressure wash-down
National bearings and power transmission distributor
Motors on a food processing line were being replaced every one to two weeks because daily high-pressure wash-down destroyed standard motors. Stainless wash-down motors were the alternative, at a far higher price.
Pilot motors tested at more than 2,000 MΩ. The pilot turned into repeat orders: 14 motors received so far and 8 certified, each with its own certificate and treatment record.
CNC machines built, programmed and kept busy

Precision turbocharger parts needed in-house machining, and someone had to keep the programs and the parts coming.
Over 1,000 CNC programs written, and 56 machining jobs in five months: flange skimming, bearing housings, supercharger bearing pockets, balancing jigs and a custom grooving tool.

Straight answers
Do you work outside Pretoria?
Yes. Drawings, CAM programming, software and Google Ads are done remotely for clients anywhere in South Africa. Machine and installation work is done on site, with travel quoted as its own fixed line.
I only have a sketch or a broken part. Can you still help?
That is how most jobs start. We work from sketches, photos, measurements and physical parts, and turn them into proper 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
How do you price?
Fixed prices only, never hourly. Each page lists a starting price so you know the ballpark before you contact us. Your written quote splits design, manufacturing and installation so you can see exactly what you are paying for.
Are you a big company?
No, and that is the point. SkillAxis is a small, founder-led engineering company. You get the engineer who does the work, not a junior and an account manager. For larger builds we bring in trusted fabricators and electricians and manage them for you.
